On Saturday we all headed down to Carlsbad to help Audra celebrate her 1st birthday. Audra is my cousin Jamie and her husband Andrew's little girl. It's hard to believe that she's already a year old and is taking her first steps and enjoying her first words. Amazing!! I'm so glad that my Dad, Siobhan, Grandma and Grandpa were all here to help celebrate as well. Audra looked so adorable in her little birthday outfit. Baby girls are so much fun to dress up.

Katelyn giving her cousin a birthday hug. I should probably mention that poor Audra had an accident falling down some stairs with my cousin Kelly last week and fractured her leg. That's why she's wearing a cast in this picture. Thankfully Kelly is ok and Audra's leg only had a minor fracture and the cast comes off next week.

Katelyn LOVES the slide. In fact, I think that the word love is even an understatement. She sees a slide and her first words are, "slide, weeeeeeee!" She then proceeds to go down the slide as many times as possible. It's quite hilarious to watch her go down the slide as she doesn't sit up, but lays down so she can go down as fast as possible, while shouting, "weee!" She looks more like a luger as she goes down. Too funny to watch! This particular slide was a foot off the ground at the end and when she got to the bottom she went flying off the end onto the ground.

Brayden enjoying the music with his Papi. My cousin Kelly has made it through the first 2 rounds of Hollywood week on American Idol and she and my cousin Dan gave us a taste of her audition songs. She has an amazing voice!! Can't wait to see if she makes top 24 this week.
