Here's to being 30!
I turned 30. On March 30th. My Golden Birthday.
Celebrated in our new home!
The first party we had. It. Was. Amazing!
I had so much fun planning, decorating, and trying out bakerella's cakepops.
You are about to be overloaded by pictures, but I felt so blessed to have had so many of our friends come celebrate with us I had to share the many pictures I took.
Thank you to everyone who came to help me celebrate the beginning of a new decade. A new chapter. May the next one be as fun as the last! Cheers!
Poor Brayden was so tired! He barely made it to 8:15, then I nursed him and put him to bed. Katelyn stayed with her Gigi and Papa for the night.

The Circle Girls!
I yuv you
3 words that melt my heart every time she says them. The pride that comes with watching my daughter blossom into a little girl. Of all the words that she has begun to use on a regular basis, "I yuv you" is her new favorite phrase.
She says it often.
I repeat it back. Often.
She says it before she goes down for a nap, before bed, throughout the day and most importantly if she misbehaves and is punished she will say sorry, give kisses and say those 3 precious words...
I yuv you!
Playing Catch Up
Wow! It's been forever since I blogged. We've been busy, busy around here. Rags to Stitches Boutique, my baby accessory line is thriving and I've been filling several orders recently. I love that my business is growing, but it's definitely more tricky to find time to sew with 2 kids. Besides being busy with work, our family has been busy getting settled into our new home, celebrating Easter, my 30th birthday party and our trip to the Santa Barbara Wine Festival. We had a wonderful Easter celebration with family. Here are some pictures from our day.
Can I just say how much I love her haircut!?!

Katelyn's 1st Hair Cut
Kyle and I took Katelyn to Cool Cutz for Kids today for her 1st haircut. It's been getting long and unruly and we missed seeing her beautiful little face hidden behind her mop of hair. I'm not going to lie I was very nervous, anxious and my heart pounded in my chest through the entire hair cut. I was so worried the girl was going to cut it too short or not the way I had wanted. It felt like I was visiting a brand new hair dresser for the first time. Katelyn did great!! She was a little hesitant at first, but she loved sitting in the yellow car and watching Elmo while she got her hair cut. She even sat still for most of it. I decided I wanted to do an a-line cut on her hair so it's shorter in the back and longer in the front, just like her mommy.

Turning 30!!
I know that there's 2 exclamation points behind my blog post title, but it's an excited !. This past year has been an amazing one filled with Katelyn's 1st birthday, finding out we were pregnant again, the birth of Brayden, the engagement of my brother in law to an amazing woman, and buying a house!! When Kyle told me a year ago he was going to buy me a house for my 30th birthday, I told him, "No Way! You can't predict where the market will be at the point and if we'll even be able to find a house in our price range." Low and behold, God is SO good and he has continued to bless our family!
We are going to have a party on April 10th (wanted to give myself some time to move in and get settled), but the day of my birthday was an extremely special day too. The morning of my birthday I did a Spring Boutique with Rags to Stitches. My mother-in-law came and watched the kids so I could go and enjoy myself for a few hours. I did get a few orders, which is awesome, but most of all it was a great networking opportunity. I'm really hoping to do a fall boutique at our house (maybe) and so I wanted to meet other ladies that I could invite to be a part of it with me. When I arrived home from the boutique I was greeted with this:
While I was gone at the boutique, Katelyn, Brayden & Gigi:
So special!! The cake was DELICIOUS!!
After enjoying some cake, I put my little ones down for a nap and Kyle's Mom stayed so Kyle and I could go spend some alone time together. We saw a movie and then had dinner at Buddha's Favorite in Newport Lido.
Thanks Gigi for watching our precious little ones. They always have so much fun with you!
