A Few New Exciting Things...
Kyle and I had to pick up some gifts at the mall today so we stopped into BabyGap and Old Navy to check out the summer sales. We got some cute baby outfits for Katelyn. I also picked up our stroller yesterday. It's fabulous!! You know you're in nesting "Mom mode" when you're excited about your stroller and want to push it around everywhere. Can't believe that we're 26 days away!! I feel like she could arrive any day now. Her nursery is becoming jam packed with piles of clothes and other necessities that still need to be organized. We haven't been able to put stuff together because we needed to get rid of some furniture first. It's being picked up tomorrow morning and on Monday, Kyle and I have decided to spend the day putting everything together. We've both been so busy we haven't spent much time together. We went shopping and to dinner together tonight and it was so nice to reconnect. I feel like as I get closer to my due date, I'm fighting all sorts of strange, sometimes unidentifiable emotions. There are moments where I find myself fighting back tears for no apparent reason. Kyle has been so encouraging and in spite of his hectic schedule, he still helps me keep the apartment clean and runs random errands with me. I feel truly blessed to be married to him, and couldn't be prouder to be having his child.

When will Katelyn arrive?
The doctors are telling us that Katelyn's due date is June 18. I personally think that she will arrive early, making her grand appearance on June 16 around 5:30p.m. I thought it would be fun to have a friendly competition to see who can guess her due date and time. Care to play? =) Good Luck!

Seems like forever...
since I last blogged. I really have no excuse, except that I find myself exhausted a lot and choosing to rest. I know, go figure, me... relax.... crazy! I can't believe Katelyn is going to arrive in 28 days, give or take a couple of days. Now that I'm officially 9 months pregnant, I'm going through the faze that I'm sure all women go through where I'm ready for her to arrive and I'm hoping she'll come early. Not a couple weeks early, just maybe a couple days early. Kyle and I are going to be working on the nursery this weekend. I'm so excited to finally start putting things together and getting them organized. Each day my excitement grows and I find myself more in awe of this little baby kicking and moving inside of me. I find myself wondering how I'm going to take care this little one and know how to provide for all her needs. They say that your body doesn't doubt its ability to care for a baby when it's growing in your womb, but easily doubt your ability to care for the baby once she is born. I'm trying really hard to put that worry aside and have faith that God knew what he was doing when we conceived Katelyn and he's going to help us raise her in a loving home, and one that teaches her all about God's love.
I'm sorry I don't have any recent pictures from all the exciting things Kyle and I have been up to. I promise I will be better about taking pictures and posting them. Thank you for keeping us in your prayers.

An Update on Julie
Many of you have been asking me about my friend Julie and so I wanted to provide you with an update. Julie is now almost 21 weeks pregnant and her little baby boy is still alive and kicking inside of her...literally. Here's a snapshot of her recent blog entry.
"Its hard to believe this whole story already began over a month ago. Our baby just keeps holding on. Last night I was laying in bed flipping through some pictures on our digital camera and Tim was laying next to me, leaning over to see. Suddenly, I felt Will start to roll around a little and so I put my hand on my stomach. Then he kicked so hard, my hand actually moved. I screamed out of sheer shock and nearly knocked Tim in the face with the camera as both my hands flew up. Then I couldn't stop laughing. Tim couldn't possibly see what was so funny. Of course, this just made it even more hysterical to me...my baby was alive and feisty! I cherish each and every movement, not knowing how long I will be blessed with him. But we pray every day that he continues to be our miracle baby."
I cannot even begin to thank you all for your prayers during this difficult and confusing time for Julie and her husband Tim. They recently named their baby boy William James, Will for his will to live and James is Tim's middle name. I can't think of a more perfect name for this precious little baby growing inside of her. Everyday I continue to believe in a miracle for her and feel so honored to be included in her journey. While each and everyday is still a waiting game for them, if the baby continues to grow and develop, they could give birth to a healthy baby boy, and what a miraculous story that would be. I know I've said this before, but I truly believe that God has his hand on William, Julie and Tim and he's going to use this story to win others to him, in a time when most people don't believe in miracles anymore. Let me tell you, miracles were not saved for Biblical times, they are still very present today, and if you are lucky enough to witness one or receive one.... well, what could be better.
Please continue to keep Julie, Tim and baby Will in your prayers. Pray a hedge of protection around them, and a continue peace that God's hand is on this entire situation, and while we may not understand right now why it's happening, it's all for his purpose and his glory. Julie, Tim, we love you both and will continue to fervently pray for you.
Julie just started a blog, please visit her blog to stay updated on how she's doing. http://murraymemo.blogspot.com/

Baby Shower on May 3
Kyle and I were blessed once again last weekend, when my friends threw me a baby shower. It was a wonderful, intimate shower with 10 of my girl friends. Thank you to Elaina, Stephanie, Jamie and Alissa for throwing me such a wonderful shower. The food was delicious and I think everyone had fun playing all the shower games. We had a diaper raffle, and we played two games. The first game brown paper bags with baby products in them were passed around and we had to guess what was in each bag, and then the second was a contest where everyone decorated a onesie for Katelyn. She is going to look adorable in all her onesies!! Not that my April 27th shower wasn't fun, it was, I have to admit it was nice to be able to look and chat with everyone as I opened my gifts. At my first shower, I felt I didn't do a very good job of personally thanking everyone after I opened each gift. At the second shower, I was able to interact with my friends as I opened their gifts. Although, my thank you cards for both showers have already been mailed out. The nursery is coming together and I have everything organized from picture frames, to 0-6 month clothes, 6-12 month clothes, nursing stuff, bath stuff, diapers, bedding, etc. Kyle and I are going to try and put the crib together this weekend, so I'm really excited! It will be nice to be able to organize the rest of the room once the crib is put together.
Words can't express how excited we are as the time for Katelyn's grand arrival gets closer. It's hard to believe her due date is only 6 weeks away. Kyle's on the countdown; it's really cute to hear him tell people exactly how many days we have left. I can already tell that she's going to be "daddy's little girl." Kyle is going to be an amazing father, and I couldn't have prayer for a husband more supportive, encouraging, uplifting, and excited about this life change. God has truly blessed us, and some days I'm absolutely amazed by how fast this pregnancy has gone by, and how healthy both Katelyn and I have been. I do with I could get her on a sleep at night and awake during the day schedule. She kept me up all night last night while she did aerobics in my belly. haha
Thank you for your continued prayers, we are so excited and can't wait for her to be born!
